Training and Consultation

We offer training and consultation to individuals on strategies to reduce behaviors that could endanger health and safety. Our goal is to provide practical solutions that improve daily life.

Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)

Some families may need a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) conducted at home to better support their child's needs outside of school. An FBA helps identify the reasons behind challenging behaviors and develops effective strategies for change.

Intervention Plans

Different states and settings may use different names—such as Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP), Positive Behavior Support Plan (PBSP), or other terms—but the core purpose is the same. These plans are all based on a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and provide individualized, structured strategies designed to support positive behaviors and address challenges effectively. The terminology varies, but the goal remains to help the child succeed across environments.

Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE)

An Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) is an assessment of your child's abilities and needs conducted by an individual who is not employed by the school. Although the school must review and take the IEE results into consideration, they are not obligated to agree with or adopt the findings. These evaluations provide valuable insights that can help schools better understand your child's needs and enhance their educational experience. Depending on the situation, IEEs can be funded either privately or by your district.

Strengthening Relationships

Our ultimate goal is to ensure that caregivers and children have strong, positive relationships. We work to get to the root of behavioral issues and find ways to replace negative behaviors with positive ones, allowing children to meet their needs in healthier ways.

Collaborative Approach

We believe in a collaborative approach, working closely with schools and other team members. With a signed release of information (ROI), we share data collection, reports, tools, and teaching strategies to support your child's development.
